Role Overview – Application Engineer I
As an Application Engineer I, you will be involved in designing, configuring, and deploying software applications that support industrial automation and enterprise solutions. This role combines software development with real-world system integration, offering exposure to both engineering and customer-focused delivery environments.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development and Configuration
Develop, configure, and deploy software applications using programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or C#.
System Integration
Integrate software solutions with hardware devices like controllers, sensors, and enterprise systems using APIs and standard protocols.
Testing and Validation
Create and execute test cases, perform validation, and support factory and site acceptance testing processes.
Debugging and Support
Identify and resolve software defects and integration issues during development and deployment phases.
Documentation
Prepare technical documents including system design, configuration guides, and testing reports.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with product managers, architects, and hardware teams to deliver complete solutions.
Continuous Improvement
Contribute to improving engineering processes, tools, and frameworks within the organization.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics & Communication, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Batch Eligibility
2024, 2025, and 2026 graduates
Academic Performance
Minimum 60% or 6.0 CGPA preferred
Technical Skills
Strong programming fundamentals in at least one language such as Python, Java, C++, or C#
Basic knowledge of networking, embedded systems, or automation is an advantage
Communication Skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
