Job Description
As a Systems Engineer (Network Specialist), you will be responsible for managing, operating, and supporting Razorpay’s enterprise network infrastructure. The role requires deep technical expertise in firewall management, routing, switching, wireless networking, and Zero Trust security systems.
You will work closely with internal teams and vendors to maintain high network availability, optimize performance, and ensure secure connectivity across the organization.
The role also includes handling critical incidents, network upgrades, root cause analysis, and implementing preventive solutions to improve infrastructure reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain Palo Alto Firewalls including policies, VPNs, NAT, and HA setup
- Support Cisco Nexus switching environment including VLANs, VPCs, routing, and OS upgrades
- Manage Cisco Meraki switches and wireless access points
- Handle Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and ZTNA policy administration
- Monitor network health and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Manage service requests and incidents through ITIL-based ticketing systems
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major incidents
- Maintain network documentation, SOPs, and infrastructure diagrams
- Coordinate with vendors and technology partners for infrastructure improvements
Required Skills & Eligibility
Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
- Deep understanding of Cisco Nexus switches and routing concepts
- Experience with Cisco Meraki dashboard and wireless optimization
- Knowledge of Zscaler and Zero Trust security architecture
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, and switching
Preferred Skills
- Certifications like CCNP, PCNSE, or Meraki certifications
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud networking
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and operational environments
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
