Climate Catalyst is a U.S.-based non-profit organization working to drive high-impact climate policy change in Asia and Europe, aligned with limiting global warming to 1.5°C. The organization collaborates closely with policymakers, experts, and civil society to design and support effective climate campaigns, including contributions to the EU Nature Restoration Law and India’s green steel roadmap.
About the Role
Climate Catalyst is seeking a Fundraising Coordinator to support the implementation of its fundraising strategy. This role works closely with the CEO, Director of Fundraising & Communications, and the Fundraising & Governance Manager to strengthen donor engagement and fundraising operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct prospect research and analyze funding trends
- Support mapping and expansion of supporter and donor networks
- Develop and implement supporter engagement strategies
- Assist with stakeholder engagement, including the Strategic Council
- Track, monitor, and report on fundraising income
- Support administrative processes related to the Advisory Board and Strategic Council
Requirements
- Experience in fundraising administration, stakeholder management, or related roles
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to research, engage, and maintain relationships with donors or clients
- Experience working across regions and cultures
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Raiser’s Edge
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Additional communications experience is an advantage
Working Conditions
- Fully remote role (within ±6 hours of GMT)
- Fluency in English required; additional languages are a strong plus
- Salary: USD 52,000 (competitive and aligned with local salary bands)
- Occasional international travel may be required
