- Understand test requirements and design test cases for the product.
- Prepare test planning based on business requirements and testable conditions.
- Implement Wipro testing methodologies including model-based testing for efficient test generation.
- Ensure test cases are peer reviewed to minimize rework.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and capture test cases and maintain version control.
- Define testing parameters, scope, and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Automate parts of the test lifecycle using tools such as VB macros, scheduling tools, and GUI automation.
- Design and execute automation frameworks and testing reports.
- Develop and automate tests for software validation by creating test environments, test plans, and scenarios.
- Identify bugs, prepare defect reports, and track testing progress.
- Ensure all delivered work meets Wipro and customer SLA standards.
- Create and share testing dashboards and status reports with stakeholders after each testing cycle.
- Provide usability feedback and report quality risks to stakeholders.
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain effective communication with customers through email, calls, and issue tracking.
- Deliver testing reports and dashboards on time.
- Update project trackers such as eCube and TMS with accurate effort details.
- Respond to customer requests within defined timelines.
- Ensure no complaints or delays in project deliverables.
