Role Overview
As a Data Center Technicians Intern, you will work in a hands-on environment managing critical infrastructure. The role focuses on installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware systems that ensure uninterrupted cloud services.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Deployment
- Assist in deploying server racks, network devices, and power systems
- Support data center setup under senior supervision
Hardware Installation & Troubleshooting
- Install and replace cables and hardware components
- Troubleshoot servers, storage devices, and networking equipment
- Handle SSDs and hard drives securely
Ticket-Based Work
- Work in a structured ticketing system
- Prioritize and resolve infrastructure issues efficiently
Equipment Handling
- Move hardware using proper tools like pallet jacks
- Follow strict safety protocols
Inventory Management
- Assist in asset tracking, shipping, and receiving
- Support inventory teams during peak operations
Compliance & Culture
- Follow Microsoft security and operational policies
- Maintain professionalism and teamwork
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- High School Diploma / Diploma or equivalent
- Candidates pursuing IT, electronics, or networking preferred
Age Requirement
- Minimum 18 years
Citizenship
- Must be an Indian citizen or have valid work authorization
Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware
- Understanding of IT infrastructure is a plus
- Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or Server+ preferred
Communication Skills
- Good verbal and written English
