Job Description
As an Assistant Technical Services Engineer, you will handle the complete lifecycle of IT assets — from procurement to disposal. You will ensure accurate tracking, compliance, and efficient utilization of IT hardware across the organization.
You will also act as a key coordinator between internal teams and vendors while maintaining high standards of reporting and compliance.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage full lifecycle of IT assets (procurement → allocation → disposal)
- Maintain accurate asset records in ServiceNow CMDB and asset registers
- Tag and track hardware like laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
- Coordinate with vendors for warranties, audits, and insurance claims
- Monitor asset aging and recommend hardware refresh plans
- Generate monthly reports for asset usage and inventory status
- Manage IT storeroom and ensure proper stock levels
- Conduct physical audits for both on-site and remote assets
- Ensure compliance with e-waste disposal regulations (STPI guidelines)

Experience:
- Minimum 2+ years in IT Asset Management or Technical Services
Technical Skills:
- ServiceNow CMDB
- IT Asset Lifecycle Management
- Fixed Asset Register handling
- Vendor & Audit Management
Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Good stakeholder communication
Work Location
This is an on-site role in Pune, requiring physical asset verification and IT inventory handling.
