Job Description
As a Software Engineer at Akamai, you will be part of the IT DevOps Engineering team, contributing to the development of high-performance applications and automation solutions. Your primary focus will be on building scalable, efficient, and maintainable systems that improve internal processes and overall operational efficiency.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, design and deploy applications, and continuously enhance system performance. This role requires adaptability, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while learning new technologies.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable software applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues and bugs
- Collaborate with system operators and stakeholders for technical requirements
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
- Ensure proper documentation throughout the development lifecycle
