Role Summary
Associate roles at UNICEF provide essential technical, administrative, and operational support to country offices and headquarters. These positions play a key role in supporting programme delivery, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining compliance with UN policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Support programme planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting
- Coordinate administrative, logistics, and operational activities
- Maintain accurate data, documentation, and records in UNICEF systems
- Assist with procurement, finance, HR, and travel processes
- Liaise with internal teams, partners, and government counterparts
- Prepare reports, briefs, and presentations for management
- Ensure adherence to UN rules, regulations, and procedures
Required Qualifications
Education
- Completion of secondary education is required
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Social Sciences, International Relations, or a related field is an asset
Experience
- Typically 2–6 years of relevant experience in administration, operations, or programme support
- Experience with UN agencies, NGOs, or international organizations is an advantage
Language
- Fluency in English is required
- Knowledge of additional UN languages (French, Spanish, Arabic, etc.) is an asset
